New Managing Director appointed to GL Noble Denton UK

IGEM Industrial Affiliate GL Noble Denton, the independent technical advisor to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Dr R. V. Ahilan as the new Managing Director (MD) of GL Noble Denton UK. Dr Ahilan began his career at GL Noble Denton in Singapore in 1984 after completing his PhD in Engineering Fluid Mechanics at the University of Cambridge. He also gained BSc and MSc degrees in Civil Engineering from Leeds University and the California Institute of Technology. He transferred to London in 1986 and worked on numerous marine warranty projects and in the design and assessment of a variety of offshore structures. As an industry leading expert, he has worked on projects that . have defined the safety factors which are appropriate for jack-ups, transportations, moorings and risers.
