Angry UK merchants slammed the European Union directive dealing with the recycling of end-of-life vehicles (ELV) at the Northern Metals Assn annual meeting on March 8. During the meeting in Sheffield, merchants also expressed concern about poor trading conditions in recent times.Merchants criticised the directive as "open to misinterpretation" and "ill-conceived".
