Vitrulan has developed a "magnetic" wall covering that it says will reduce maintenance cycles in public, commercial and domestic buildings. The company manufactures fabric wall coverings that are made entirely from glass and hung in a similar way to traditional wallpaper. The glass wall coverings provide benefits in terms of hygiene, cleaning and durability. Magnet has the added benefit that a magnet can be stuck straight onto the wall. This has been achieved by combining a layer of textured woven-glass fabric with a compressed glass lining fleece and a unique metallic coating infused between the two.
