The present paper reports two cases of intestinal obstruction and their surgical management. Case I : A Lhasa-apso bitch pup weighing 3.5 kg and aged 8 months was presented with a history of sudden onset of voinitioa, anorexia and depression. Dehydration was apparent as indicated by congested mucous membranes and rough hair coat. Ventrodoraal radiograph of abdomen revealed a radio-opaque mass (2 X 2 cm) and a cubicle foreign body in intestine (Figure 1). It was diagnosed as a case of intestinal obstruction and emergency surgery was decided.
