NUTRITIONAL EVALUATION OF DUB GRASS (CYNODON DACTYLON) FOR GOATS

Dub-grass (Cynodon dactylon) is a perennial grass with long runner which strike roots at the nodes, and extensive underground rhizomes. It occurs throughout the tropical, sub-tropical and semi-arid regions of the world. It is one of the world's worstweeds. The leaves of cynodon vary greatly in length from 3 to 30 cm. It propogates vegetatively more than by seeds. It is also relished by goats. The present communication embodies the results of its nutritional evaluation in goats.
