Traumatic peritonitis and generalized peritonitis are not uncommon in horses and dogs Hosgood and Salisbury, (1981). Broberg and Ghafghasi (1965) recorded 20 cases of peritonitis in sheep caused by perforation by larvae of Linguatula serrata. In the present communication a case of traumatic peritonitis is reported in a Pashmina goat. An 2 1/2 years old, Ghangthangi Pashmina goat (No 22 42) weighing 14.60 Kg was hit badly by a fellow goat. She became dull, off-feed and showed signs of anuria. Goat was treated with Lasix 1 ml, Pednisalone 2 ml and Mifex 100 ml by I/M, I/M and S/G routes, respectively. Goat failed to respond the treatment and died 2-3 days after on-set of illness.
