Papillomatosis, which is commonly known as warts, is not uncommon in young cattle. Although any part of body can be involved but it is most commonly present on head, shoulder, around the eyes and udder of lactating cows (Kumar et al., 1984). The antimony and bismuth salts have been tried but proved to be unsatisfactory. However, the autogenous vaccines have been used with some success (Blood and Radostits, 1 989). Since the vaccine production is a combersome process requiring high technical skill and more time, an attempt was made to treat the warts in animals by Thuja accidentaiis, a homeopathic medicine suggested by Mac Leod (1981).
