Report on control of white grub in Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd. Sugar Unit - Khatauli.

摘要

An experiment was conducted in Uttar Pradesh, India, during 2008 to study the control of white grub infesting sugarcane. Observations recorded on 25th May and 11th June 2008 after one day of spray of imidacloprid indicated that mortality of beetles was more than 95% at all the locations. Spraying on the host trees adjoining infested crop fields with insecticide at the time of mass emergence of beetles during May-July reduces subsequent damage to sugarcane by the grubs.
