MORTALITY PATTERN AMONG MINIBROILERS IN NORTH WEST TAMIL NADU

Mini-broilers are a class of commercial poults that are reared upto 14 weeks of age in certain pockets of Tamil Nadu and are marketed either for Table or back yard poultry rearing. Many reports on the incidence of diseases have come up recently mainly because of the lacunae in proper maintenance shown by the farmers. The present communication deals with mortality pattern among the minibroiler population reared in Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu.
