Studies on milk-letdown time in murrah buffaloes

Various factors like parity, calving season, milking time, milker, temperament of the animal and body condition influenced the mean milk let-down time (MLT) in buffaloes but the temperament of the animal had a consistent influence throughout the lactation period. The buffaloes of nervous temperament had mostly higher MLT.
