The association of extrapyramidal syndromes with the clinical picture of intracranial space-occupying processes in children is comparatively rare. Of 757 intracranial space-occupying processes in children treated in the Clinic of Neurosurgery, Bucharest (1944–1969), 9 presented extrapyramidal signs: 5 gliomas, 1 pinealoma, one intraventricular hydatic cyst, one left parietal hydatic cyst, one brain stem tumor not checked histologically.
