Signs of huge renewable gas discovery

Results of exploratory drilling in one of Europe's biggest potential methane gas fields are supporting expectations of substantial reserves of the valuable renewable energy source.Findings show a doubling of the expected depth of coal seam in which the gas is held with the discovery of two in addition to the three already encountered in the first phase of drilling.This more than doubles the depth of coal seam and significantly increases the potentially recoverable area within the Folschviller ST1 test field in Alsace Lorraine.
