Convenient Synthesis of 1,1-Dimethyl-2, 5-Diphenyl-1-Silacyclopentadiene

摘要

The dehydrogenation of 1,1-dimethyl-2,5-diphenyl-1-silacyclopentane by 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) permits preparation of the title compound in high yield.
