Pseudohypercalcaemia in a patient with newly diagnosed Waldenstrom macroglobinaemia.

An elderly man with history of hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia and multiple admissions for gastrointestinal bleeding was admitted from gastroenterology clinic after a haemoglobin level of 63 g/L (reference 129-170) was noted. At the time of admission, he was asymptomatic and haemodynamically stable. He denied any history of blood loss and Ms physical findings were unremarkable.
