Resolution of visual field constriction with verapamil in a patient with bilateral optic neuropathy, migraine and Raynaud's phenomenon.

A 21-year-old woman presented with chronic migraine associated with a 6-month history of progressive deterioration of visual function. Confrontation visual field testing revealed tunnel vision. Detailed neuro-ophthalmology assessment showed bilateral optic neuropathy (ON) with poor visual acuity to 20/120 bilaterally, decreased colour vision on Ishihara plate testing and constriction of visual field to the central 5° on automated perimetry (Fig. 1). Optic nerves showed pallor in the maculopapullar bundle. Fluore-scein angiography did not show vasculopathy of the retina.
