Indorama Completes PTA Expansion; Production Expected in Mid-August

Rotterdam— Indorama Ventures (IVL) said it has completed its purified terephthalic acid (PTA) brownfield expansion in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (PCN, 15-22 Aug 2016, p 1). The project increased PTA production capacity at the site to 700,000 t/y from 380,000 t/y. Together with its site in Spain, the company's total PTA production capacity has been raised to over 1-million t/y.
