ExxonMobil Picked as Preferred Bidder For Singapore-Based Jurong Aromatics

Seoul— ExxonMobil has been chosen as the preferred bidder for the acquisition of Singapore-based Jurong Aromatics Corp. (JAC), outbidding Lotte Chemical and Hanwha Total, according to industry sources. In January, Lotte said it recently submitted a letter of intent to purchase JAC, after being short-listed, but that details had not yet been decided (PCN, 23 Jan 2017, p 1).
