2011, The European Year of Volunteering, is a time to celebrate and recognise the contribution made by volunteers in a whole range of sectors across Europe. This provides the perfect opportunity to take a moment to promote the hundreds of volunteers who have helped to make Birdfairthe success it is today. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the fair-just about everything that can be undertaken by a volunteer is done so, from putting up the first piece of trellis to depositing the last bags of rubbish and recycling into the skip.
