Remarks on Plasma Problems with Nonmonotone Nonlinearities

With the help of a-priori bounds for solutions, conditions for the existence and non - existence of a free boundary are given. An example is constructed which shows that the results on the free boundary as well as the existence theorems fail if a certain growth condition is violated
