A REVISION OF THE GENUS PETRIELLA

A reappraisal is made of the genusPetriellaCurzi. The type species,Petriella asymmetrica, is found to be identical with a species previously described asMicroascus sordidusZukal. The latter species is transferred toPetriellaas a new combination, and one new species,P. guttulata, is described. A synopsis of the genus, with five species, is presented. The additional three species areP. setifera, P. lindforsii, andP. boulangeri.
