摘要

Cyanide-resistant respiration and ethanol fermentation appear to proceed in parallel in rice callus cells cultured under aerobic conditions. Both the production of ethanol and the rate of CN-resistant respiration were increased with increases in the concentration of sucrose in the culture medium, but the activity of the cytochrome pathway was scarcely affected.
