Rolled products producer Aleris Corp. has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Zhongwang USA LLC, a company that is majority-owned and led by Liu Zhongtian, the founder of China Zhongwang Holdings Ltd. The aggregate value of Aleris amounts to USD2.33bn, comprising USD1.11bn in cash for the equity to be paid by Zhongwang USA, plus USD1.22bn in net debt.
