EMC requirements for avionics: RTCA/DO-160E: Significant changes to the global standard for aerospace EMC

RTCA/DO-i6oE, ENVIRONMENTAL CON-ditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment, prepared by RTCA Special Committee 135, was issued on December 7, 2004, and superseded DO-160D, Changes 1, 2, and 3. DO-160E covers standard procedures and environmental test criteria for testing airborne electronic equipment (avionics) for the entire spectrum of aircraft, from light general aviation aircraft and helicopters through the "Jumbo Jet" classes of aircraft.
