Present and future trend of sensing and communication technology for ITS - radar and inter-vehicle communication systems

摘要

Researches and development in "Intelligent Transport Systems' (ITS) have recently carried out in Japan as well as throughout the world with the aim of constructing ITS with safe driving support, optimum traffic management, efficient road management, etc.. Of ITS technologies, "radar and inter-vehicle communication systems" are especially important. In this paper, the present and future trends of "radar and inter-vehicle communication systems" are discussed.
