摘要

AbstractThis article presents a full‐wave analysis of microstrip step discontinuities in shielded MICs that are printed on anisotropic substrates, characterized by both permittivity and permeability tensors. The numerical procedure utilizes the method of moments with rooftop basis functions for current expansion and testing. Although the work presented herein emphasizes step junctions, more complicated microstrip discontinuities can easily be realized as well. Numerical results show good agreement with independent data for biaxial substrates. © 1994 John WileySons, I
