摘要

We analyzed the heat‐pulse method of measuring the thermal conductivity and specific heat of thin films. The method, which separates the effects of the addenda from those of the film, fails because of problems of measurement accuracy. Our calculations show ways of treating the data that yield the thermal conductivity, specific heat, and thermal diffusivity to about 1 accuracy, if the addenda coefficients can be estimated to about 10.
