Two Days to a Week in Digestive Endoscopy: what Has the SFED (French Society of Digestive Endoscopy) Register Taught Us in the Last 14 Years (2001-2014)?

SFED surveys initiated in 1998 were systematically reproduced from 2001 to 2014. It is useful for the profession to have at its disposal the evolution of conditions and number of digestive endoscopies carried out by the largest number during debates with the "powers that be". The change in survey methods in 2010 to an electronic survey and longer survey performed over 5 days must also be evaluated in order to better define future objectives. Finally, it is crucial for the SFED to share the results with the survey participants.
