During a recent press conference in Exton,PA,GE-Plastics LNP Specialty Compounds announced commercial availability of several new long-fiber products.Representing the latest evolution in the Verton family is the Xtreme compound platform,offering multiple additives and colorants within a single pellet.The initial technology for these platforms was developed by LNP before it became part of GE,and since the acquisition,GE has invested millions of dollars to develop and commercialize these and other new compounds based on original LNP product lines,according to Jamie Tebay,structural product manager.
