Branching and Curing in the High Temperature Synthesis of Polymers Containing #x3B1;-Diketone Groups

摘要

The mechanism of polyether-#x3B1;-diketones formation under nucleophilic substitution conditions are investigated using as example the reaction between 4, 4#x2032; -difluorobenzyl (4, 4#x2032; -DFB) at 160-180#xB0;C. The reactions are carried out in presence of K2CO3in dimethylacetamide (DMAA) and chlorobenzene or toluene.
