The Sideslip Maneuver with Myocutaneous Flaps

We describe the method of sliding the cutaneous portion of a myocutaneous flap over the muscular portion on its vascular mesentery, thereby extending coverage and reducing the bulk of myocutaneous flaps. The donor site defect is also more acceptable with this maneuver.
