Amplitude statistics of radar clutter using an Akaike information criterion

摘要

We have investigated weather clutter amplitudes observed by L-band long-range air-route surveillance radar (ARSR) with a frequency of 1.33GHz, a pulsewidth of 3.0 μs using an Akaike Information Criterion (MC). It is shown that weather clutter obeys a Weibull distribution for entire data and data within the beam width of an antenna.
