SummaryAn autopsy case charactarized by changes consistent with recurent interstitial pneumonitis accentuated by necrotizing inflammation of the pulmonary arteries and renal glomeruli was reported.The mechanisms involved in the causation of the set of organic lesions are discussed in the light of other expressions of collagen diseases.Secondary pulmonary hypertension may have played a role in inducing the arterial lesions in the lung.
