Auto manufacturers demand rapid respnse and require just-in-time inventories of parts and subassemblies. This pressures injection molders to effectively utilize avalilable machine time. One way to accomplish better on-stream time is to improve purge times when color and material changes are necessary. The use of effectife purging compounds will result in less purgin time, lower pugant cost and fewer reject parts.
