Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia, also known as epithelioid hemangioma, is an uncommon vascular lesion involving predominantly the skin at the head and neck. Most cases have been reported in the dermatologic, ophthalmologic, and otolaryngologic literature. The author presents a rare instance of biopsy-proved deep soft-tissue invasion of this disease, which was demonstrated with positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
