Scale from hard water can build up in pipes,mold cooling lines,and downstream surfaces.An alternative to costly chemical descaling has been introduced by Clearwater Enviro Technologies.The seven new industrial ScaleBlaster units are said to handle a wider range of pipes than any similar technology and are available for standard diameters of nonsteel pipe ranging from 12 to 40 inches and of steel pipe from 4 to 26 inches.
