Because fines in virgin material and regrind heat up faster than pellets,they can burn or vaporize leaving defects in your end product.(See figure 1)In 1986,after recognizing the need for a dust removal system in the manufacturing process,Jerry Paulson nurtured and developed a solution in the garage of his Lancaster County,PA,home.The concept was based on kinetic energy and its effect on products as they pass through pneumatic conveyance systems during the production process.
