In mobile packet telecommunication system of IMT-2000, we create a tunnel between edge node and gate node for every user who connects, and user's packet is transmitted in a tunnel. There are operators who have applied the connection oriented type network, and operators who have applied the connectionless type network for IMT-2000 network, because 3GPP do not prescribe the lower layer protocol between nodes. In this paper, to offer the service like packet roaming between different networks, we propose mobile packet telecommunication systems for interconnecting between connection oriented type like ATM-SVC network and connectionless type like IP network, and describe the realization of these methods. We also compare and inquire about these methods, and show a consideration result.
