Application Effects of Refractory Linings Based on Cordierite and Talc during the Lost Foam Casting Process

摘要

In this paper, a correlation of technological parameters for manufacturing cordierite and talc-based refractory linings and quality of casting obtained through the lost-foam casting process is presented. A special emphasis is placed on the conditions under which refractory linings are manufactured, bearing in mind quality demands of these products for application in foundries.
