From revisions to longstanding lines,to newly commercial all-electric machines and prototype units,blowmolding at K was marked by advances.Nissei ASB Machine Co.Ltd.(Nagano-ken,Japan) used K for the commercial launch of its ASB-15N/10E:a one-step all-electric injection stretch blowmolding (ISBM) machine that it says uses 60% less electricity compared to hydraulic models and has reduced vibration and noise.Kazumi Masuda,section manager,believes it to be the first all-electric ISBM in the world,and Nissei already sold three to Japanese customers,with November 2007 deliveries.
