Acommunity service program from product lifestyle management solutions provider Fisher/Unitech(Troy,MI;www.funtech.com)offers professional development for displaced designers and engineers in eight Midwestern states through its"No Engineer Left Behind"program.CAD users from Michigan,Ohio,Indiana,Kentucky,Illinois,Wisconsin,Missouri,and Kansas who lost jobs because of economic downsizing within the past 12 months are eligible to apply for the three-step program,which involves a three-day Introduction to SolidWorks course,an evaluation copy of SolidWorks 2009 Office Professional software,and a potential placement at a Fisher/ Unitech customer site for a 30-day unpaid internship.
