Plastican provides cleanup help for Texas and Louisiana hurricane-struck homes

Hurricane Ike made a mess of areas in Texas and Louisiana in September, so injection molder Plastican (Leominster, MA; www.plastican.com) donated a truckload of its 5-gal pails filled with cleaning supplies by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (New York, NY; www.umcor.org) to help families clean their homes. UMCOR is packing the pails with gloves, dust masks, scrub brushes, sponges, bleach, soaps, and other items and distributing them to households that need them.
