Anew silicone vacuum seal from M.R.Mold is designed for use in parting line sealing of silicone and rubber molds.The silicone is formulated for the high temperatures required on silicone and rubber molds,and the hollow body design is said to readily flex to seal the groove contour.The tapered body design helps the seal avoid being pinched in the parting line and eliminates the compression set seen when using traditional O-rings.
