It was the best of times;it was the worst of times.That could describe the Northwest mold manufacturing industry's situation during the decade spanning 1992 to 2002.That region went from one of prosperity,expansion,and growth in the early 1990s,to almost total devastation by 2002,hard hit when large OEMs such as Hewlett-Packard,Epson Printer,and others moved work offshore,followed by custom molders fleeing to chase the work.
