The European Lift Components Association (ELCA), a European economic-interest group, held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 24, 2005 at its headquarters in Brussels. During the morning, the ELCA board held its meeting, during which board members fine-tuned the AGM program. They also discussed other issues of interest, such as the meeting held in Milan with European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EFESME) and Associazione Nazionale Industrie Componenti per Ascensori (ANICA) on June 29. There was also a report on the meetings held by the technical Inter-Association group, which was also held in Milan on July 13 and September 19.
