摘要

The possibility of increasing the corrosion resistance of titanium by electroplating of tungsten coatings was investigated. Deposited tungsten converts into a passive state and reduces titanium rate of corrosion in H_2SO_4 (9.5 mole fractions) at 70-80℃ by the factor of 2000-4000. Anodic and cathodic behavior of titanium samples with tungsten coating determined electrochemical characteristics of tungsten. The effectiveness of the cathode process on the coating is higher than at tungsten itself. It allows converting titanium into passive state and provides electrochemical protection.
