A source of reversible current with varying amplitude, frequency, and positive-to-negative-pulse-length ratio

A reversible-current source providing the independent adjustment of pulse amplitude (up to 2 A), frequency, and the ratio of positive-to-negative-pulse lengths (1-99 s) is described. The source was used in the electrochemical deposition of Ni layers into nanometer-size channels of anodic alumina substrate.
