While calibrating a light source against a reference light source, the spectrum of the latter often does not coincide with that of the calibrated source. This leads to the problem of considering variations in the shape of the photodetector's spectral sensitivity. A method to measure relative changes in the photodetector's spectral sensitivity is proposed. In the application of this method, no assumptions are made about the stability of the amplitudes of the sources' light flashes. In addition, it is not assumed that responses of the photodetectors are stable. The results from the experimental verification of this method are given.
