摘要

We describe a quasi-optical technique, based on measuring the ratio between transmitted and reflected waves upon their interference at a flat dielectric plate, for evaluating the carrier frequency of short single pulses in the millimeter wavelength range. The results from measuring the oscillation frequency of a prototype volume free-electron laser are presented.
