摘要

The profile of an atomic beam in the region where it forms is an important characteristic of a polarized atomic hydrogen (or deuterium) source. A mathematical model for a two-coordinate resistive detector of atomic hydrogen beams is presented. Metering equipment and a technique for measuring an atomic beam profile are described, and the results of our measurements are presented.
