A CAMAC instrument controller on the basis of the model ADSP2181 signal processor

The application of the model ADSP2181 signal processor to design CAMAC modules is described. The controller involves an EZ-KIT Lite microprocessor board with a signal processor, a 20-MHz analog-to-digital converter, and a CAMAC interface. The module capabilities are demonstrated by the example of video signal digitization in real time.
